- ¼ of a firm ripe Rockmelon
- 12 medium raw Prawns
- 1 tblspn Lemon Juice
- 1 tblspn melted Butter
- 1 small clove Garlic, chopped
Deseed and slice the Rockmelon into thin wedges, then chill. Peel and devein the prawns leaving the tails intact.
Place the prawns in a bowl. Combine the lemon juice, melted butter and garlic and pour over the prawns. Cover and leave the prawns to marinate for half an hour.
When ready to eat, heat a barbecue plate or frying pan and cook the prawns for just a few minutes, turning once.
Serve the prawns with a few chilled Rockmelon wedges.
