Karl and Leone Tolg’s Maiden Trip with RBC

Our Maiden Boat trip with the RBC on the 13th and 14th of February 2016 – The Weekend overnighter, Crab Chase and Cook up, at Blakesly’s Anchorage

By Karl Tolg (March 2016)

We just like to let everybody know how much we enjoyed this weekend with the most friendly and helpful members of the Redlands Boat Club. The BBQ including the Crab meat plus the well picked music and dancing afterwards made us feel special and happy.  We learned a lot on the trip over to Blakesly’s and the stay over night. For example we now know we need to wear Raincoats and do not pick any short cuts on a windy and rainy day with our Tiny.

Camping was easier years ago, but we managed, not needing lots of sleep after a happy night with a magic camp fire and a plan not to take any firewood or beer back home.

I loved the trip over, not so sure about Leone. We had great assistance from members to show us a different way home on the Sunday and pleasant trip via a guided passage. We would like to thank all members who attended and specially Trevor for his organisation to make this one of our great weekends.

Thanks again, looking forward to catch up again.

Cheers Leone and Karl Tolg (happy RBC members)
