Compound Parking

by | Feb 22, 2019 | Articles, Club News

The Redlands Boat Club has a limited amount of car parking and on a good day the car park fills quickly. We have had a recent incident of a car without a trailer parked in the Compound, this action will result in the Members access FOB being TURNED OFF for 12 WEEKS.

Please remember – No cars without a trailer are to be parked in the compound!

Members are also reminded about parking outside the designated parking bays. We have in the past had Members having problems turning around in the wash down area as well as getting to the wash down area.

The whole concrete area between the north and south fences and between the ramp fence and the main wash area is a “NO PARKING AREA”.

By all means you can ready your boat to launch and wash down at both wash down points, just do not park your car and trailer in these marked and concrete areas.

Should any Member chose to ignore the above and feel the need to park in these areas, these Members access FOB’s will be TURNED OFF for a period of 12 WEEKS.

Should any Member have any questions about parking and or any other Club rules, please do not hesitate to contact me as I would much rather talk to an unsure Member rather than having to ring that Member when something’s gone wrong.

Happy Boating
