Passing of Bruce King – D.L.M and P.C

We regret to inform you that our inaugural Commodore, Bruce King, unfortunately passed away last week. Bruce was one of the founding members of our club and without his efforts and contributions, the club would not be what it is today.

Bruce King, together with Arthur Richards, Bob McDonald and Dave Cummings were the brains behind the Redlands Boat Club. Their initial intention was for mates to get together with a common interest that they could focus on.

Bruce was the loving Husband of Roma (dec’d) treasured Father to Stephen, Phillip, Susan, Julie and their partners. Adored Pop and Great Pop, Loving Partner of Shirley and treasured Father to her family.

For all of those members who may wish to attend Bruce’s memorial service, it will be held on Friday 2 November at 11am at the Redlands Boat Club.
