Compound Vehicle Movements

by | Nov 11, 2017 | Boating

As we move into the busy time of the year, The RBC Management Committee would like to remind members of how our compound is designed to work. The diagram below shows how traffic is designed to flow in the compound.

We have also recently had some issues with the fob reader being damaged when being struck by boats.  Particularly the front gate has been damaged a few times over the last couple of months.  We suspect the fob reader at the front gate is being struck by the stern of members boats if they turn left toward the ramp too early when entering the compound.  A larger Bollard has been installed to protect the reader on the recent working bee so please be careful with your boat when entering the compound and remember to go strait on long enough to ensure the stern of your boat clears the entrance before turning left toward the ramp.
